Product Description
RNase inhibitor (RNase inhibitor) is a specific ribonuclease (RNase) inhibitor that exists in human placenta. The principle of specific inactivation of RNase is: non-covalent bond with RNase to form a complex, resulting in RNase is inactivated.
This product is a recombinant human RNase inhibitor expressed and purified in E. coli in a soluble form, which can broadly inhibit various types of RNase (RNase A, B, C).
This product can be used for experiments such as cDNA first-strand synthesis, polysome isolation, in vitro transcription and in vitro cell-free translation systems.
Specification: 40 U/µL.
Transportation and storage methods
Ice pack transportation. Store the product at -20°C. The validity period is 2 years.
Activity definition
The amount of enzyme required to inhibit 50% of the activity of 5 ng RNase A is defined as 1 activity unit (U). RNase A activity can be determined quantitatively by hydrolyzing Cyclic 2',3'-CMP to produce 3'-CMP.
Quality Control
Exonuclease residue detection: 200 U of this product and 0.6 μg λ-Hind III are reacted at 74°C for 1 hour, and the DNA electrophoresis band does not change.
Endonuclease residue detection: 200 U of this product and 0.6 μg Supercoiled pBR322 DNA are reacted at 74°C for 1 hour, and the DNA electrophoresis band does not change.
E. coli residual DNA residue detection: add 200 U of this product to a 50 μL system, and use ddH2O as a template to amplify the E. coli 16s rDNA gene. After 35 cycles, 1% agarose gel electrophoresis was performed, EB staining, no amplified bands.
Precautions
1. This product inhibits RNase activity in a wide range of pH values, and exhibits maximum activity at pH 7-8.
2. Avoid foaming, vigorous stirring, vortexing and other operations to prevent the product from deactivation.
3. This product does not inhibit RNase H activity.
4. For your safety and health, please wear lab coats and disposable gloves for operation.
